Fara Campbell (Lentsch)

Fara Dee (Campbell) Lentsch, 62, lifelong resident of Alamogordo, New Mexico, passed away November 3, 2015, at her home. Fara was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on February 4, 1953, to Lee and Evelyn Campbell. She was the fourth child of five. She graduated from Alamogordo High School in 1971. She retired after 43 years as a federal civil servant with the U.S. Air Force at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico.

Fara was preceded in death by her father, Lee Campbell.

She is survived by her son, Lee (Erin) Lentsch and four grandchildren Kaycie Brown, Dustin Brown, Brennen Lentsch, and Ryeleigh Dee Lentsch, all of Denton, Texas, her mother, Evelyn Campbell, her brother David Allen (Helen) Campbell, Terry (Tim) Wolfe, all of Alamogordo. She is also survived by her sister Jackie (Joe) Lennox of Russellville, Alabama, her brother Ron (Donna) Campbell of St. Charles, Missouri, and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service for close friends and family on Monday, November 9, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Alamogordo.

The Lentsch family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place at PCS.

Vicki Trimm (Wilkerson)

I remember Fara, we had several classes together through the years. Sorry to hear of her passing. RIP Fara.
