PARADISE (E-R) - A mass of Christian burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church for Donnalee Ann Douglas; 25, of 8854 Skyway, who died Saturday in a local traffic accident.  Miss Douglas was born Sept. 21, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio.  She had moved to Paradise a year ago from Fairfield.  She worked as a waitress for Jim's Coffee Shop, 5667 Clark Road.  Survivors include her mother, Myrtle Douglas of Paradise; her father, Dr. Jack Douglas of Vacaville; two sisters, Marcella M. Ketcham of Vacaville and Julia L. Douglas of Los Angeles; and a brother, Kurt P. Douglas of Chico.  Rev. Patrick Lee will offer the Mass. Interment will be at the Paradise Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Kurt Douglas, Gary Ketcham, Robert Wheeler, Jerry Hegenbart, Allan Graham and Richard Wheeler.  Services are under the direction of Chapel of the Pines.

PARADISE (E-R) - A 25-year-old Paradise woman and her dog were killed just before 2 a.m. today when the car the woman was driving plowed into a tree off the Skyway south of Clark Road.

The California Highway Patrol reported Donnalee A. Douglas, 1340 Bille Road, apparently lost control of her car on a turn and crashed into the tree.  She was taken to Feather River Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 2:35 a.m.

CHP officers discovered the accident while they were returning to Chico from investigating an abandoned vehicle in Paradise Pines.  They said they had passed the scene of the crash on their way to Paradise Pines just minutes prior to the accident.
