It is always with great saddness that we send this message concerning our loss of Steve Melon.  He was a great friend to so many of us.  He reached out so so many students during his coaching carreer.  Rest in Peace our Dear Steve.

Steve and I followed each other in the AHS ' 71 alphabet - Melon, Melton - next to each other in the yearbooks and sat next to each other during graduation!  A special memory - one FUN evening of country-western dancing someplace in Tularosa . . . he was a fantastic dancer!

My sincerest condolences to Steve's family and friends!
