Horace, born November 11, 1950, was living in Laurens, South Carolina when he died January 23, 2009.

Rev. Horace Simeon Simon, 58, of Church St., Laurens, died Jan. 23, 2009 at McCall Hospice House, Simpsonville.

A son of Gettys Bryant Simon and the late Albert Matthew Simon Sr. He was a member of the Owen Chapel AME Church, New Mexico and a US Army Veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Bennie Margaret Simon of the home; his mother, Gettys B. Simon of Alamogordo, NM; two brothers, Albert M. Simon Jr. and Charles Henry Simon, both of New Mexico; three sisters, Gloria Enoch and her husband, Anthony of Indianapolis, IN, Ethel Lynette Montague and Elizabeth Johnson, both of Fort Worth, Texas.
