I went to NMSU where I graduated in 1975 with a degree in elementary and math education. However I had started working with Ma Bell as a long distance operator after I graduated high school. I quit when I went to school and then got rehired in summer between freshman and sophomore year. I continued working full time while I was in college. After graduation promoted into management. Moved back to Alamo 1 year and then to Albuquerque. Got married with 3 teenaged step kids and moved to Denver. With the breakup of the bell system we went to New Jersey with AT&T.

After 26 years of service I was fortunate to take an early retirement in 1998! With medical benefits! Yay. Worked for Price Waterhouse Coopers as a management consultant for a couple years then took the plunge into the spa industry. Love it! I do all types of services from facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, microneedling to Brazilian waxing. And I'm my own boss which is both good and not so good.

Asking for prayers for my mom. Some of you know she broke her neck in 2011. Now she has broken it again with the c1c2 vertebrates. So I drove out from SD to El Paso. I'm not a driver. So this was really long. We are hoping she'll be released today or tomorrow to go to casa arena skilled nursing in Alamogordo. She will be wearing the cervical neck collars for life. Surgery not option. For those of you that know my mom she is still very sweet and feisty. Still loves life and wishes she had the energy to still get up and go!
