Then until now. Life started fast for Vicky (Campbell) and myself after graduation. We both started college on the hill in Alamogordo and got married that same year. We stayed in Alamo for a couple of years until I was offered a job in Deming, NM with Frito Lay as a salesman. We stayed there for three years moving to Amarillo, TX where I went to work for Amarillo Hardware in the printing and graphics department. Stayed there for about three years. We moved to Albuquerque, where we stayed for six months until I was offered a job back in Amarillo working for a local printer. I stayed there for about three years until they decided they no longer needed my services. For some reason they didn’t like it when I told them to shove it up their...I’m sure you know where I mean. That was when Vicky decided to go back to school and get a teaching degree. I stayed unemployed for a couple of weeks before going to work for the City of Amarillo in the printing department, and as the say the next twenty eight years is history. I retired from the City of Amarillo in May 2010. Now for the fun stuff. I worked with youth for twenty-five years working with church kids, teaching bible study, going on mission trips to Mexico to build houses, and going to church camps in the mountains of northern New Mexico. For my own personal pleasures I like to backpack, ride mountain bikes, white water raft, travel in the RV and just about anything outdoors. Needless to say life has been an adventure, and Vicky and I will start the next chapter in May when she retires from teaching. After Vicky retired we stayed around Amarillo a few years, doing a little traveling, working on projects around the house, and just taking it easy. Then it happened we decided to sell our house most of our furniture and a lot of stuff we didn't need and hit the road in an RV. We put a lot of miles on my old truck, had two different travel trailers, went to most of the states in the western US, and visited most of National Parks. Then one of us decided he was tired of driving and pulling a trailer. We decided to settle down in Forth Worth which is where Lacey our daughter lives. Vicky is making the most beautiful quilts and I've been working on my wood working skills. Life is good. One thing I forgot t mention is we took up kayaking while in Colorado and have a great place close to Fort Worth to go.
